Caldolor (KAL-doe-lore) is the first IV version of ibuprofen.

It will be used as an adjunct to IV opioids for moderate to severe postoperative pain...and to reduce fever in patients who can't take other dosage forms.

Ketorolac IM is the only other injectable NSAID...but it should only be given for up to 2 days.
