Stay alert for patients newly diagnosed with autoimmune diseases, cancer, etc. Encourage vaccination BEFORE they start immunosuppressants if possible.
Live vaccines (MMR, varicella, etc) are best given at least 4 weeks before starting an immunosuppressive med.
