HIV drug called Intelence (etravirine)

You'll see a new HIV drug called Intelence (etravirine).

It's a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI)...similar to Sustiva (efavirenz), Viramune (nevirapine), and Rescriptor (delavirdine).

Intelence is for patients resistant to other HIV meds...and will be used with other antiretrovirals to reduce resistance.
