Durela (Du-REHL-ah) will compete with other extended-release tramadol products.
Durela is another once-daily tramadol...along with Ralivia, Tridural, and Zytram XL.
Reps may point out that Durela has the highest area under the curve (AUC) or extent of absorption. But so far there's no proof that this equates to better pain control than the others.
