When the dose of Zocor reaches 80 mg it lowers LDL about47%...and reduces triglycerides about 36%. It's approx equivalentto using Lipitor 40 mg.
Keep in mind that increasing the dose of Zocor also increasesthe risk of muscle inflammation or liver toxicity.
