Rhone-Poulenc Rorer is now marketing Nitrolingual Pumpspray.
Each spray provides the same amount of nitroglycerin as the original spray canister...but the new pumpspray doesn't contain chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).
Another advantage is that the pumpspray comes in a transparent plastic bottle...so patients can tell when they need a refill.
