Some physicians are now questioning whether Allegra can cause arrhythmias...like Seldane.
Allegra (fexofenadine) is the active metabolite of Seldane (terfenadine). Studies suggest that Allegra is not likely to cause torsades and other ventricular arrhythmias.
But now there's a report of ventricular arrhythmias in a patient on Allegra. Interestingly, they re-occurred when the patient was re-exposed to the drug.
