Abbott is now marketing a new form of ritonavir called Norvir SEC. It will replace the original Norvir capsules.
Norvir SEC is the same strength...it just uses a SOFT ELASTIC CAPSULE instead of a solid capsule.
The original Norvir capsules need refrigeration at all times. The new soft elastic caps can be left at room temp for up to 30 days.
