Rescula (unoprostone), a new eyedrop for glaucoma
Novartis will soon introduce Rescula (unoprostone), a new eyedrop for glaucoma.
Rescula is a prostaglandin analogue...similar to Xalatan (latanoprost) and Travatan (travoprost).
These drugs lower intraocular pressure by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor. They're used second-line...for patients who can't tolerate or don't respond to other glaucoma meds.
