People are asking about alternatives to pseudoephedrine...to prevent diversion to meth labs.

Sudafed in the U.S. is being removed from OTC shelves in many states. A "new" Sudafed PE does NOT contain pseudoephedrine. Sudafed PE contains phenylephrine.

Phenylephrine in Canada comes in combination products (Dimetapp, etc). Phenylephrine can't be easily converted to methamphetamine. But it may be less effective...and it's taken more frequently.
