Experts are warning about a possible increased risk of suicidal thoughts with antiepileptic drugs or Champix (varenicline).

Antiepileptics. Patients taking antiepileptics seem to have TWICE the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviours as those not taking these drugs.

The reason for the increased risk with antiepileptics is not known...or even if the drugs are responsible.
