Some women will now use tamoxifen for up to 10 years instead of 5 years...to further reduce the risk of recurrent breast cancer.

Tamoxifen (Nolvadex-D, etc) is best in PREmenopausal women...and aromatase inhibitors (Arimidex, etc) in POSTmenopausal women.

Aromatase inhibitors aren't effective for premenopausal women...because these women produce too much estrogen.
