Zostavax II, a new formulation of zoster vaccine that is kept in the refrigerator instead of the freezer
Merck will promote Zostavax II, a new formulation of zoster vaccine that is kept in the refrigerator instead of the freezer.
The original Zostavax vaccine was more difficult to store or transport because it had to be kept at -15ºC or less.
Zostavax II will be more convenient...the vaccine and diluent don't need to be separated since both can now go in the fridge upon arrival.
