Think of Foquest As Another Long-Acting Methylphenidate
You'll see changes in long-acting methylphenidate meds for ADHD.
Foquest (FOH-kwest, methylphenidate) is a new once-daily option similar to Biphentin and Concerta. But it's only approved for adults...and hasn't been studied enough in kids to recommend it yet.
You'll hear that it works for about 16 hours compared to about 12 hours for Concerta or Biphentin. But it's too soon to say if Foquest's duration is consistently longer than other long-acting methylphenidate products in "real world" patients.
