The Canadian Paediatric Society says that some mothers and babies aren't getting enough vitamin D.
Health Canada recommends 200 IU of vitamin D per day for pregnant and lactating women...and 400 IU per day for breastfed babies.
But the Canadian Paediatric Society says these amounts may be low.
