Roche is now marketing Vesanoid

Roche is now marketing Vesanoid...in both the U.S. and Canada. It's the first vitamin A derivative to be approved for cancer.

Vesanoid is an oral form of tretinoin...the same ingredient that's in Retin-A.

Retinoids don't kill cancer cells like traditional chemo-therapy. Instead they help induce remission by getting immature cancer cells to differentiate and mature normally. These mature cells then die naturally.
