A significant drug interaction is now being reported between oral contraceptives and Rezulin (troglitazone).

Rezulin is the brand new diabetes drug from Parke-Davis. It just came out in the U.S...and will be launched soon in Canada. Rezulin increases insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetics.

The problem is that Rezulin is an enzyme inducer...similar to phenobarbital and other anticonvulsants.
