Taking Clavulin BID works as well as TID dosing...and it's better tolerated. Diarrhea is reduced by more than half...partly because of lower amounts of clavulanic acid in the new formulations.
Children can take the new Clavulin-200 or Clavulin-400 oral suspension BID...instead of Clavulin-125 or Clavulin-250 TID.
