methadone might cause arrhythmias

There's now concern that methadone might cause arrhythmias.

Some patients taking 65 to 400 mg per day of methadone end up getting the arrhythmia, torsades de pointes.

This is more important now that methadone (Metadol) is approved for treating severe pain.
