Health Canada has approved a more convenient formulation of Kaletra (lopinavir/ritonavir).
There are two protease inhibitors in Kaletra...but ritonavir is only included to inhibit lopinavir metabolism and "boost" its levels.
Kaletra was originally formulated as a capsule with 133.3 mg lopinavir and 33.3 mg ritonavir. Pts usually take 6 caps per day.
