if they should stop taking Diane-35 or its generics now that these will be taken off the market in France

Women are asking if they should stop taking Diane-35 or its generics now that these will be taken off the market in France.

Diane-35 is ethinyl estradiol plus the antiandrogen, cyproterone.

It's similar to an oral contraceptive...but it's approved ONLY for treating severe acne in women who have androgenic symptoms, such as seborrhea and mild hirsutism.
