This comes on the heels of an investigation into serious injuries linked to pacemakers, insulin pumps, breast implants, etc.

But there are also potential safety risks with devices in your pharmacy...glucose monitors, pregnancy test kits, etc. It's unusual for these devices to lead to serious harm...but they can still have mechanical issues, insufficient or unclear operating instructions, etc.
