Plavix (clopidogrel) to prevent recurrent heart attacks or ischemic strokes
Sanofi Winthrop and Bristol-Myers Squibb will soon promote Plavix (clopidogrel) to prevent recurrent heart attacks or ischemic strokes.
It'll be out in the next few months in the U.S. and Canada.
Plavix is a new platelet inhibitor. It's similar to Ticlid (ticlopidine)...but without the risk of neutropenia.
