taking Prepulsid (cisapride) off the market
Janssen is taking Prepulsid (cisapride) off the market in Canada...just like they did in the U.S.
This is due to reports of arrhythmias and deaths when Prepulsid is taken by patients with underlying heart conditions or combined with certain drugs.
Janssen has already stopped distributing Prepulsid...but you can keep it on your shelves until August 7th of this year.
