Servier is now launching a new sleeping pill, Starnoc (zaleplon). It's already in the U.S. under the name Sonata (Wyeth).
Starnoc is a nonbenzodiazepine hypnotic.
It's being promoted as so short-acting that patients can take it in the middle of the night if they can't sleep.
