ASA helps prevent colon polyps

There's now more evidence that ASA helps prevent colon polyps...and possibly colon cancer.

Colon polyps are strongly associated with the development of colon cancer. About 5% of polyps eventually become cancerous.

Now results from the first big CONTROLLED study suggest that low-dose ASA (81 mg) reduces colon polyps by 19% in patients who've had polyps in the past.
