Health Canada is stopping the sale of thioridazine.
There's not enough proof that it's safe. There are reports of thioridazine causing prolonged QT interval and sudden death.
Manufacturers will not sell it after Sep 30th...but you can still dispense it until patients are switched to an alternative.
