You'll see a new oral antifungal called Spriafil in Canada.
Spriafil (posaconazole) works at least as well as fluconazole or itraconazole to PREVENT Aspergillus and Candida infections in patients who are immunocompromised.
It will also be used to TREAT certain fungal infections that don't respond to other drugs.
