You'll see more push to reduce drug company influence on prescribing.
Interestingly, most physicians think they aren't influenced by gifts from manufacturers...such as pens, mugs, tickets, etc. Only 16% of physicians think reps influence their OWN prescribing...but 61% say it influences their colleagues.
NoFreeLunch.org, PrescriptionProject.org, and other organizations are encouraging prescribers not to accept gifts from industry.
