You'll see a new antiepileptic called Aptiom (AP-tee-om).
Aptiom (eslicarbazepine) is a sodium channel blocker similar to carbamazepine and oxcarbazepine.
It will be added to other antiepileptics for partial-onset seizures in adults when other meds are not sufficient.
