It can be confusing to sort through the long-acting calcium channel blockers...Adalat XL, Cardizem CD, Tiazac XC, etc.
Drug suffixes (CD, ER, XL, etc) don't offer much help...there's no standard meaning to these for dosing, substitution, etc.
