Canadian guidelines will help increase folic acid and multivitamin use in women before, during, and after pregnancy

New Canadian guidelines will help increase folic acid and multivitamin use in women before, during, and after pregnancy.

The new guidelines also emphasize the need to take a multivitamin to reduce the risk of other conditions...heart defects, urinary tract anomalies, oral facial clefts, etc.
