There's confusion about when to recommend Prevnar 13 in ADULTS.

Prevnar 13 is often thought of as a childhood vaccine...but it's also approved for use in adults 50 years and older.

Now the Public Health Agency of Canada is clarifying when to use it in adults. They recommend giving Prevnar 13 for adults of ANY age if they are immunocompromised...in addition to Pneumovax 23.
